This piece was inspired by a recent trip to the Cape where Kara and I did one of those dune tours (which was excellent btw). Our guide explained that the dunes are constantly shifting and occasionally shipwrecks and the sort become unearthed only to be reclaimed by the sands. Made me wonder what other nature treasures might be out there just inches below the surface and how often are these things only seen by nature itself
