Inspiration came from lyrics from ‘This Old World’: “I’m a witness to the fight between / The darkness and the light.” Two symmetrical goats with oversize horns and contrasting elements (summer, daylight and fire on the left and winter, night and ice on the right) approach one another with an atmosphere of calm set against the Philadelphia skyline. An enormous eye formed of clouds and lightning suggestively connects them in a shared halo with hopeful god rays beaming outward. Flowers bloom at the contact point connecting each side, representing renewed growth. Band name and show info occur along the bottom, surrounded in earth and intertwined with spreading roots, symbolizing connection and renewal.
