"The reason why I use bears in my paintings all the time is (asides from being a great graphic) because my last girl friend and a bunch of my friends before her used to refer to be as being their "bear" or "panda". This painting actually personifies my characters (literally), and illustrates the idea the bear is me. (or something like that)"
