Tonights Phil Lesh & Friends Halloween run at @capitoltheatre variant is my personal favorite, so get there early as there's only 50 at the show. Is it an art print? Sure looks like an art print. WRONG.Huzzah! Here is my screenprint for Phil Lesh & Friends three night Halloween run, which starts tonight. They had specifically asked for one of my haunted houses, so I thought about how to do that haunted house carnival entrance look where the house front mimics a scary face, but using the steel your face skull logo, tearing the house in two. I burned through a ton of sketches while I tried to figure the composition of this idea out, playing homage to the old poster aesthetic while still making it feel like my work, but im really happy where this landed. It was an extremely fun project to work on.
