It was created for the book, "Canceled Flight: Tried and True Pigeon Killin’ Methods".
"By using the name "BRITNEY" on the case of the cd, I was NOT saying that the pigeon was listening to Britney Spears specifically. I think the name "Britney" itself conjurs up images of the kind of crappy mindless pop music that chearleaders would do routines to. I think I could have also used a name like "Suzy" or "Tiffany", but I think "Britney" has a better feek to it, probably because of Spears' influence on pop culture.
Also, I noticed some one thought that the Pigeon was decapitated... I was actually trying to go for a boxed in look where the pigeons head was the only thing exposed, and the body was incased in the box."
