Tsang is a Hong Kong-based Chinese artist working with clay. He creates porcelain sculptures that capture uncanny and grotesque expressions with a clean, classic aesthetic and an added sense of humour. Tsang’s work displays raw emotions in a relatable way. At times, acutely literal in his work, he softens the reality of the intense emotions he depicts through clever visual metaphors — perfectly personifying those feelings we all feel, but often cannot explain.
