The subject of this print is the Butter Robot that was introduced in Rick and Morty Season 1 Episode 9 on March 24, 2014. The original painting was oil on wood and was purchased by the series co-creator, Justin Roiland, from Gallery 1988 (announced on twitter on 1/13/2017)
