"The eye of a storm is the deceptively calm center of a hurricane, typhoon, tornado, or cyclone. From this vantage point, you can observe the rapidly approaching threat even if your immediate area appears stable and safe. Oceans may seem impossibly expansive but these ecosystems, which our lives depend on, are at great risk from pollution, habitat destruction, and overfishing. Will we be lulled into complacency or will we heed the many signs of the approaching storm and fight like our lives depend on it?"
