"A brilliant dystopian documentary...oh, hold up, this was from 2006? Uncanny. Trying to make something as stupidly funny as this movie while attempting poignant political commentary was an interesting challenge. I had to ask myself what would a symbol of America look like in this world that Mike Judge created. What does Uncle Sam and American idealism look like now? What do we worship and what controls how we think? Eh, it's pretty similar to now: indulgence, money, and corporate greed.
