Hold On Everybody was my contribution to the 'Stay Positive' show. Last summer, I heard a reading by Paneshia Jones of her poem "What Would Gwendolyn Brooks Do" and it made my hair stand on end. I tried to pull elements from her piece in combination with some of the characters from my "Let's Put Our Heads Together" print, and this is what resulted.
