"Egyptian Goddess Maat presides over Phish's New Years Garden Party. In ancient Egypt, Maat was the personification of truth, justice, and the cosmic order. She regulated the stars, seasons, and the actions of mortals and the deities who had brought order from chaos at the moment of creation. When phish is playing- I feel that all of these things are possible. I have pictured Maat in front of one of the Bulkwarts of the Brooklyn Bridge- which is a modern world representation of ancient Egyptian architecture. Evidence of Egyptian archetectural influence abounds in Manhattan if you take the time to look. This print is hand carved and hand printed on hand made, hand marbled cotton rag paper. Available in three distinct marbled colorways , as well as black line work and gold line work. A limited number of 5 print master sets will be available. Prints measure 13 x 17ish."
