Posters measure 18" x 24" each and are 5 color screen prints with metallic red inks. Commissioned by Metallica and Nixon in celebration of their recent watch collaboration. The posters feature all the dates of the bands current 2018-2019 North American Tour on the bottom.
From the artist:
We got approached by Nixon to take part in this collaboration, I’m always excited to work on any Metallica project. I started referencing songs and brainstorming ideas that may incorporate time pieces and time in general. I then remembered the song “Fade to Black†and played the “Ride the Lighting†album. The entire album is filled with songs and story of our last minutes. “Creeping Death†and “For Whom the Bell Tolls†really hit me as I started drawing this. I think it really came down to that, Father Time, the Reaper counting down our last minutes. Reminding us, all we have is time, it’s really the most valuable item we have.
