"This original painting was created with oil on wood over the course of a year starting in January of 2011. The scene captures some of the Golden era of Hollywood. Since I was born in raised in Los Angeles and grew up on classic films, I wanted to recreate the same feeling I received in watching those films through means of paint in a modern way." - Dan Quintana
