Not to be confused with the Miami Pop Festival held December 28, 29, and 30, 1968 at Gulfstream Park.
The Miami Pop & Underground Festival was promoted by Michael Lang. Jimi Hendrix burned his guitar at this show. He then gave it to Frank Zappa, who continued to play it for years.
There are three different posters for this festival. The poster listing only the Jimi Hendrix Experience is the most common. The "Red" and "Yellow" versions are more rare.
