DHM is excited to debut our latest limited edition print release, "OZ Street," by leading UK contemporary artist, Will Barras. A piece inspired and influenced by the rich legacy that is Oz Will's very contemporary take showcases his unique, bold and dynamic style placing his piece in a personal context of his own.
Will Barras is a well established gallery exhibiting artist and his striking painting skills are on high display here via his color intensive and dynamically vibrant piece that renders a place instantly recognizable yet fully removed. OZ, New York City, anywhere, any time, his imagery blends to tell a tale inspired and well known yet artfully unique and contemporary. Informed by the menace of a sly monkey and a nefarious cab riding witch his protagonists are sleek, cool and most defintely not having their favorite girl messed with. Both of Will's "OZ Street" limited edition prints are slightly different, one with a bit more city grit while the other deploys Will's brilliant use of color in adding a rainbow sweep cutting right through our cast to beneath our young lead's timelessly stylized footwear, his pieces assuring us all that with family and friends by your side all will always end well.
