But just for you... “The Promised Land†is a reference to the 1% of society that is escorted into a life of abundance and fulfillment, where as we the viewers are watching their parade to a better life from a trash heap... broken, alone, in the dark. Look closely and you’ll notice gmo references and a wasted golden ticket in our “land.†I like to add trails of information hidden within the details to encourage the viewer to search the painting and ultimately within themselves for answers." -- Dangler
