"This image was a part of the work I put into the streets of New York City in 2017. It fit pretty great on most of the walls I found for it. I don’t generally like to discuss my artwork in that way much or the intentions behind it. I prefer people have their own experience with it. I have heard (and overheard) so many people describing what my work means to them. Some descriptions have been really quite fantastic…and while maybe not what I intended, no less valid. They are like having dreams. Time with them doesn’t work in nearly the same way." - Dee Dee
