The 2002 commemorative poster for Winter Carnival is a photograph taken by internationally acclaimed photographer Galen Rowell. Rowell's work has been published across the globe and in top publications such as National Geographic and LIFE. Tragically Galen and his wife Barbara died in a plane crash outside of Bishop, CA on August 11, 2002. The String Cheese Incident is grateful to have worked with Galen.
