The Azimuth Sun is a central motif of the new series of paintings on display at Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo. A continuation of the series of pins that began with the "Eddy" Wave Pin, the Sun is rendered in the shape of a compass, representative of a waypoint in the horizon as it illuminates a landscape of ultimate optimism and innocence. The pin is mounted to a deeply embossed backing card with a deluxe brass clutch.
