"This silkscreened print is a reprint of my poster originally created for Swans concert in Leipzig, October 2014.
That edition of 90 sold out quickly and many asked for a second run, so with full approval of Michael Gira, we decided to reprint the artwork, without the venue and date info. Artwork is the same, only the Swans logo has been slightly modified, to allow the spiral galaxy to spread its wings a bit more.""In keeping with Swans' use of sound as means of achieving ecstasy and purification, the figure of Michael Gira strums the guitar chord which releases fiery tidal waves of sound (6 rows of waves/guitar strings), the volume of which obliterates the musician/listener, the mind dissolving into a cosmic consciousness. It was also inspired by the architecture of the Schauspiel theater where the concert took place, the waves being also the rows of red seats, the galaxy spiral mirroring the shape of the vast spiral chandelier."
