"The Owl Queen is a story I developed while working on the 311 summer tour this year. I was actually not planning on creating any more pieces with the Owl Queen but I felt like I wasn't done with her story. The Owl Queen is a tribute to women and the battles and victories that they carry. She embraces strength, knowledge, the heart and the beauty that is a woman. A woman is a symbol, an individual, a partner, a mother, a protector, a foundation, a fighter, and a lover. When the world falls, she stands strong."
