"“Cannibal Corpse Ace Ventura†is a hyper colour poster created specifically for the OUTTA’ TUNE exhibition. OUTTA’ TUNE is a celebration of the artistry of gig posters and the craftsmanship of screen-printing. The artists were tasked to imagine gig posters for shows that could never happen. French has delivered a delightful mash-up in reference to the famous Cannibal Corpse gig in the Ace Ventura movie, in which the band ‘played’ the song “Hammer Smashed Faceâ€. Smacks of hyper blue cut through a wall of fluorescent green grab you from across the room, dragging you in for a closer look. French’s dark humour is contrasted by the punchy neon inks and bold text, it feels like this print is the hammer that Cannibal Corpse is talking about."
