"Austin Texas is home to the largest urban bat population in North America. Approximately one million Mexican free-tailed bats roost underneath the Congress Avenue bridge, and in the summer months the colony emerges in an enormous cloud just after dusk to fly off and hunt, forming a long, wavering line as they fly together along the river."
