In this small oil and 24ct Gold Leaf painting I've combined my new found obsession with Lepidopterology and my long time love of antique Japanese Gilded panels to create this tiny precious specimen that will grace your wall or mantlepiece. This 4" by 4" painting has been made on deep cradled wood panel so its as happy standing freely as it is on your wall and has been signed on the side in 24ct gold leaf (see the second image below for an example of this)
