"This kingfisher drawing represents the start of a series of colour pencil studies I plan to embark on celebrating the Exquisite Everyday. I have long wanted to turn my attention to the stunning array of characterful birds I get to see here in the UK and especially in our cities. So as ever I greedily started off with one of my favourites (I'm a dessert before dinner type of person!) the stunningly jewel hued Kingfisher."
