"Taking a few personal days to recover from a manic year and I've finally found some time to play around with new art supplies I've had waiting in the wings for months. This is my first attempt with coloured ink pencils and I've really enjoyed the chance to play around with a brand new medium. I haven't figured out yet how to get the level of detail I usually like and I think that's turned out to be a good thing, the more relaxed sketch like quality of this drawing really suits the character of this busy little winter visitor." ~Vanessa Foley IG
