This is the third year I’ve made a poster for Leftover Salmon’s annual show at the historic, haunted Stanley Hotel, made famous by “The Shining†Stephen King and Stanley Kubrick’s famous horror story.
Meet Danny. Danny has the Shining. Danny has an imaginary little boy named Tony that lives in his mouth and tells him things.
Danny is a talented little boy … perhaps a little too talented … a very willful boy … a rather naughty boy, according to Delbert Grady the former caretaker of the hotel.
Danny likes to ride around the big hotel on his big wheel. Hotel cook Dick Hallorann told him to be careful, “There ain’t nothing in Room 237. Stay out!â€
