Acrylic & Ink on Strathmore 500 Illustration Board in a custom designed plexiglass frame-------
"What holds us back was created with the intention to reveal how the Power$ that be inhibit us from seeing the real truth and messages we are supposed to focus on from above as pure beings. The powerful figures in my latest body of works are symbols of purity and what we may have been seen as in the past or future? The recurring $ sign is a symbol meant to portray what most of us are held back by in this realm which tarnishes who we are and what we are meant to be. The body of works have come to life from personal experiences and what I notice in today's society on how $$$$$ is the culprit of either being happy or hopeless." - Erik Siador
