This is the eleventh image and the first in the Oceanic Continent in the “Extincion†series. A collection of prints attempting to take on the subjects of climate change, the destruction of ecosystems, plants, animals, and our contribution as a species to this devastation.
On this Linoleum blockprint the The Papuan eagle (Harpyopsis novaeguineae) also known as the Papuan harpy eagle is depicted. Like most of the other species in the Extincion series the habitat loss, small population size, and hunting. These beautiful eagles are under vulnerable status.
