"Rue" oil on wood for the @PAINTGUIDE show opening Nov. 27th.- Dec 23rd.
At UNIT LONDON-----
From Esao:
Rue: to feel sorrow, regret. Also the herb of grace and remembrance.
I read that a Lithuanian bride traditionally wears a crown of rue, a symbol of maidenhood. During the wedding it is burned, symbolizing the loss of childhood and entering adulthood.

According to wiki: "In mythology, the basilisk, whose breath could cause plants to wilt and stones to crack, had no effect on rue. Weasels who were bitten by the basilisk would retreat and eat rue in order to recover and return to fight."
