Lydia's husband Ben designed and hand colored these for two gigs that her and Patterson Hood played together on 12-05 at the Grey Eagle Asheville, NC & 12-06 at the Bijou Theatre Knoxville, TN. Here is what Ben had to say:
I drew up each element of the poster by hand, with ink pen. I then assembled the elements on the computer, and printed out each poster as a black & white laser printout on that brown kraft paper. Then I colored in everything with a mixture of watercolors, design markers, and colored pencils. So, the general design and illustration are identical from poster to poster, but each one has a unique coloring.
