Four-color Process InkFor the inaugural Landmark Music Festival, we were fortunate to work with the lauded Tristan Eaton to create an original work of art that captured the monumental idealism of the National Mall itself. The central element is the Washington Monument, probably the most iconic building in the park. It’s super-imposed on a map of the Mall inlaid with a spider web design, a subtle nod to our interconnectedness. Meanwhile, the interior of the obelisk is a collage of Americana elements rendered in a posterized style that is a signature of Tristan’s work. He carefully selected the images to represent both the experience of the festival and the important history of its setting. The tall, narrow dimensions of the poster itself mimic the Monument and lend a soaring feeling to the art.
We are offering two editions of the poster. We only print one run, and once they are sold out are gone forever. See below for more details:
Commemorative Edition $35 — Offset-printed with four-color process ink on cover weight,acid-free paper. 12†x 36â€
