"Hands tied at bottom separates the two characters. It is this morbid affair that will divide and reunite later. This hands are a very strong symbol of division while religion (prayer position) is supposed to bring together beings.
McConaghey is highlighted in the center of the drawing! Jesus is the midway between hell and paradise. This is his portrait when he is lying on his hospital bed after the aggression in the nest."
