“It is a huge honor to have been asked to do a poster for rock icon Joan Jett, to celebrate Joan Jett and the Blackheart’s induction into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
“I wanted to capture Joan Jett’s beauty and wildness in my limited edition silkscreened poster: hand-printed in seven colors, including hand-mixed metallic gold and silver, and translucent glazes.
“In my poster design, Joan Jett has got you locked in her gaze; her stance is rebellious and slightly off-center against a glittering gold graffiti background. Joan is beautiful because she rocks and she’s the real deal. Her truth shines through as dazzling beauty. Joan is dark, she’s mysterious, wherever you think you’ve been to the edge, Joan’s been there before you, and she has written a rocking, true and beautiful song about it. That’s why I love her and her music.â€
