5 color screen print
This collaborative poster was produced to advertise and commemorate Jordan Martins‘ art exhibit, Grafts and Ruptures. Working side by side with Martins, we each took turns deconstructing a close-up image of one of his hyper-detailed and intricate collages. Printed in CMYK, this poster takes full advantage of the screen printing process, as individual channels were altered, stretched, flipped, and scaled to create this dense image. The image was then sealed with a partial varnish that subtly shapes the all over composition and adds a small overprinting detail to the text field.
