'Sloth Bear' is a limited edition screen-print illustrated and printed for the Puck Collective exhibition 'The Jungle Book Club'. Each member of the collective has created a new print inspired by a jungle animal for the two month long exhibition taking place at the Book Club in Shoreditch and Stories on Broadway Market.
The full title of the piece is "A purple vault fretted with a myriad points of light twinkling in wondrous formation while shooting stars streaked across the heavens" which would be way more pretentious but for the fact it's a beautiful line of a joke written by Les Dawson.
Each print is a hand-pulled three coloured screen-print on heavy weight paper measuring 42cm x 59.4 cm. The print run is 40 and each one is numbered with a signature. Each print will vary ever-so-slightly as I work from a fairly lo-fi printing set up but this adds to the charm of each piece.
