Borrowing from Norse mythology, this screen-printed illustration entitled 'Voyage Beyond Time' was created for the band 'Converge' for their recent tour with 'At The Gates'. In this piece, the Valkyrie serves as a guide for fallen warriors who are specifically selected to be escorted into the afterlife after dying in battle. The snake is used as a symbol for re-birth and transformation as it sheds it's skin and becomes new.
This is a 6-color, fluorescent / day-glo variant that measures 18â€x24†and is printed on charcoal French paper.
