'Monkey Guns' are a pair of spray painted canvases which portray one of Banksy's preferred subjects, monkeys, pointing some pistols.
It has been argued that the choice of subject is given by Darwin's Theory of Evolution: Banksy would be thus referring to the connection between mankind and apes, and might be alluding to the rise of the latter over human society, seen as declining and delving into stupidity.
