Back for the second year, our Summer Screen Prints show features some of the world’s best artists matched with some of the best cult films. Working in collaboration with Film4 and Somerset House, we have produced all of the limited edition two-layer prints which are on display at our exhibition at Somerset House from the 31st July to the 20th August 2014.
Each of the 16 artists that we have chosen has taken inspiration from the films on show this season and has re-imagined these beautiful posters.
“I loved Eagle versus Shark and also Flight of the Conchords so I was really excited to work on a poster for this film. My goal with the poster was to make it clear this is a mockumentary horror film rather than just horror. I chose to use 3 elements, the Vampire mouth which to me is the most obvious icon for Vampires, blood and my favourite quote from the film ‘Dead but Delicious’ combining them together to show the horror, comedy and gore in as fun a way as possible.†– Steve Wilson
