We're very excited to announce our next release, a homage to the oft-maligned Brutalist architecture by French illustrator Thomas Danthony. First in series.
Inspired by their concrete beauty Danthony has illustrated Trellick Tower, The National Theatre and the Royal College of Physicians in all their Brutalist glory, casting them in an unexpected light, making them appear weightless and strangely ethereal, in a way that no photography could ever capture.
The release is supplemented by a concertina booklet with added commentary by architect, critic and “Fuck Yeah Brutalism†curator Michael Abrahamson.
