Inspired after Jon Brookes was taken by Brain cancer.
Jon Brookes, only 44, was the drummer of The Charlatans and a man that touched many by his music and also his magnetic personality. He had an incredible zeal for life and worked with and managed many young musicians throughout his career.
Jamie Hewlett is a renowned worldwide award winning artist known across the globe who created Tank Girl and the superb Gorillaz. http://www.gorillaz.com/
A mutual respect and friendship between myself, Jon and Jamie prompted us to commission Jamie to create a limited print (150 edition - numbered and signed by Jamie Hewlett) that would celebrate two things;
Jons life. And a small dedicated Social gathering that is run on a monthly basis.
This print features just a few of the artists whose music we love that are regularly aired at "the social"
Jamie instantly agreed and created the striking timeless flyer/poster print and we both felt compelled to donate every penny to "The Brain Tumour Charity" in memory of Jon.
Sir Paul McCartney, David Bowie, Blondie, Gary Numan, Paul Weller, Stevie Wonder, Noddy Holder and Kevin Rowland have already been kind enough to oblige us in this endeavour by signing artist proofs to go to a memorabilia auction when complete. And contact is also being made with the remaining artists.

Each print overlaid with a 3 layer clear spot varnish to belt detail.
