"For a few years, I had a routine where I worked until I noticed the dawn. As soon as I spied her cold creepy fingers fumbling through my blinds, I played Nico’s “Chelsea Girls”. After it was over, I collapsed on a shitty futon in the other room. It was a way of giving a sound to the light, a bit like my grandfather’s rooster."
