Our friend and regular contributor to our product line, Steve Thomas, designed this piece with the 1930’s in mind. Featured is the Chrysler building, whose construction was completed in 1930 making it the jewel of New York and the tallest building in the world for 11 short months, being overtaken by the Empire State Building. Passing nearby is the Douglas DC-3, which revolutionized travel in the 1930’s making it possible to see America and beyond. The print measures 18 inches wide by 24 inches tall. It was screen printed in Oregon with seven colors including metallic silver, highlighting the stainless steel “crown†that sits atop this Art Deco masterpiece and polished aluminum skin of the DC-3. Edition size is 100 signed and numbered pieces. Also available framed.
