"For this piece I wanted to mix sea life and land life to create this juxtaposition. The original was shot on film with a 65 year old Rollieflex so it is in negative form. This is the first time I am selling this piece as a series. The original photograph was taken in 2002 for a magazine cover in Ibiza, Spain. after the shoot was finished the octopuss was cooked in delicious portions of garlic, olive oil and rosemary to make a wonderful Mediterranean dish." - Victor Spinelli
