The advance one sheets for Spiderman 1 (Tobey Macguire version) are highly-prized by movie poster collectors because the World Trade Center (Twin Towers) is prominently reflected in Spiderman’s left eye. Sony Pictures designed and distributed them before September 11, 2001, and ordered them taken down the day after the tragic events of 9/11.
The studio printed three versions of this poster. North American version headline: "3 May 2002." International version headline: "Coming 2002." South American version headline: "2002."
