Artist Statement: My main inspiration for this piece was the title "Police and Thieves" from one my favorite songs by The Clash (originally recorded by Reggae artist Junior Murvin) and the news I read in the paper about corrupt police forces in Argentina (where I come from). In both - song and news - police and thieves scare in equal parts a whole community.
