Phish played the festival on July 3, the day after the 3 Den Grå Hal Shows in Copenhagen. Getting there proved an adventure. I rented a car in Copenhagen, loaded my friends, looked at a map, and set out for Ringe on the section of the country called Fyn. We got to this little deserted village of Ringe and realized that there were 2 Ringes on Fyn. D'oh! We did, however, make it in time to get ourselves and our taping gear in. (which we had to give to security before entering, and then retrieve a half hour later from some trailer once we were inside) After Phish's set, Primus played on another stage. After the Primus set, cheerleaders came out, and we stayed and watched the World Cup Soccer match, Denmark vs. Brazil, on the big screens. The crowd was completely out of control.
