7-Color Screen Print.
"This piece is from the new series that we have been working on for a solo show in New York this upcoming summer. It originally began as a multilayer stencil from pieces we have done in the streets. We are trying to bring outdoor pieces with the environment into our indoor pieces. The piece itself was done in August of 2013 and only took about a week to cut and paint, but there was a pre-process where we painted it on a wall first. At the time we were living in the neighborhood surrounded with warehouses and industrial factories. We were missing trees, as they are hard to find in New York, so we came up with that idea." - Icy & Sot
