"Colors of Loss" is the first part in an ongoing 3D collaboration with North of Boston Studios. Each human skull was meticulously molded then cast in a synthetic translucent colored resin. A piece of human hair was embedded deeply into each cast, adding complexity and texture to each piece. They were displayed as part of the "Skies, Water, & Death" Art Show at The Distillery Gallery in Boston.
There were five skulls in total created, each one a different color, offered here individually.
Also included with each resin cast sculpture is a glass dome w/ oak base for display.
