"Having established a train theme and also having failed on an initial draft, I took a quick breather to regroup. As I did I remembered the movie Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford respectively. There are a lot of trains in that movie so I thought I’d take another look. As it turns out much of the 3-night triptych is based on imagery that I found from the movie. The mood and pre-twentieth century time period were perfect for both the band and the city. And to boot, if only in these writings, there’s a Paul Newman reference a la the bands’ song, Paul Newman vs. The Demons."5 color screen print using metallic silver ink
